What's in My Bag - Preschool Edition

The first day of preschool is a huge milestone in a toddlers life. As with anything in life it's crucial to pack the right items for a successful day. My son Nathaniel has volunteered to show us what's in his bag for his first day of Preschool.
- Captain America pencil case complete with pencil sharpener, eraser and two number 2 pencils
- Thermos Spider-Man insulated lunchbox
- Amazing Spider-Man sports bottle
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sandwich container
- first day of class name tag
Well there you have it. That's it for What's in my bag - preschool edition

The Night Before the First Day of Preschool

It's the eve of my sons first day of preschool. Seems like not so long ago he was an infant. I should have heeded the warnings from siblings and friends telling me that they grow so fast. I blew them off, but the whole time I knew. I knew in the back of my mind that they were right. Four years passed in a wink and now comes his first major step towards independence. He's so excited to start going to school. What will happen tomorrow morning? Will he be afraid to walk into class? Will he hold on to my hand and not want to let go? Or will it be I the one holding his hand, not wanting to let go? I have to let go.
